It’s never an easy decision to place a loved one in a nursing home. However, once we made the decision that we could no longer care for dad at home, we researched all of the homes in the Valley. We kept coming back to Valley Grande Manor. During every visit, we felt the love and compassion from the staff. We made the right decision. Dad is doing well.
We consider the staff at Valley Grande Manor as “family.” Whenever we visit, we are greeted with smiles and hugs. The many events and day trips are so important to mom and our family. Valley Grande Manor goes the extra mile and the smiles we see among the residents makes it clear that we made the right decision.
There’s no red tape at Valley Grande Manor. When we have a question regarding mom’s health, we just call and get an update quickly. We’re confident that she is getting outstanding care from a staff that understands her condition and our concerns.
When my uncle spent time at Valley Grande Manor recovering from a car accident, he received outstanding care at the on-site rehab center. And, when he was ready to come home, the rehab staff came to his home and made suggestions regarding preparing for his return. He also continued rehab several days a week at Valley Grande Manor with the same professionals that worked with him while he lived there.
Great food. Great events. Wonderful, loving care givers!!
We find comfort knowing that most of the staff at Valley Grande Manor has been there for decades. They understand the needs of residents and families. It’s nice to know that dad is receiving great care from professionals who also pray for him every day.
