WESLACO – Residents and staff at Valley Grande Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (VGM) didn’t have to tune into “The Voice” or “America’s Got Talent” to experience entertainment.
Families, friends, and residents simply visited VGM and were treated to a talent show featuring singing, dancing – and a lot of smiles.
“This is one of the many events we host for the Valley Grand Manor family,” said Bill Lowe, administrator. “It was a spectacular day and we want to thank Nora Ramirez, Activities Director, and her assistant, Dalia Garcia, for putting this together and encouraging so many people to participate.”
Amongst performances, staff members from therapy, nursing, and housekeeping departments showcased their talents to a live audience. There were individual and group dance performances while others provided outstanding signing entertainment. There was even a resident and a family member that got to take to the stage as participants.
“It was simply a great day,” added Lowe. “It was so enjoyable to see staff members, residents, and visitors get up there and put on a show. This is one of the many events we sponsor to bring people together at VGM.”
