VALLEY GRANDE MANOR OBSERVES ‘LONG-TERM CARE ADMINISTRATOR’S WEEK’

veterans-day
WESLACO – In observance of Long Term Care Administrator’s Week, the entire staff at Valley Grande Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is being recognized for its hard work and dedication for providing outstanding care.
“We have an outstanding staff at Valley Grande Manor,” said Glen Hamel, owner of the 40-year-old nursing and rehabilitation center in Weslaco. “Under the direction of Bill Lowe, administrator, we have consistently been ranked as one of the finest facilities in the Mid-Valley. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bill and the entire 175-person staff for fulfilling our mission of ‘going above and beyond’ everyday as we serve the residents of the area with outstanding, compassionate care. I know I speak for the staff when I say it is a privilege to serve and we’re honored to be trusted by our residents, patients, and their families.
“We have maintained a strong tradition of restoring, promoting and maintaining quality of life by fulfilling the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents and families.”
Since 1994, The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) has sponsored this national observance each March. Long Term Care Administrator’s Week honors and celebrates the important role the administrator has in providing leadership for the delivery of quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment for staff.

“ACHCA commends, salutes and thanks those administrators in nursing homes and assisted living centers who are committed to providing excellent quality of care and quality of life for the most vulnerable members of society,” the organization said in a statement. “Congratulations on a job very well done!”
