WESLACO – Valley Grande Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center rolled out the fashion runway recently for its 2nd Annual Fashion Show featuring a wide range of donated clothing from around the world.


Relatives of staff members and students from nearby schools “walked the runway”, displaying an entertaining a colorful array of formal and informal wear. VGM’s Director of Nursing, Luz Llasos provided clothing from Africa, China, India, and the Philippines highlighted the popular event.  Ms. Llasos was very active as a missionary in these countries and provided colorful, traditional dress wear from these countries.


“This has been a phenomenally popular event,” said Bill Lowe, administrator. “We particularly appreciate the volunteers from the community who gave their time to model these unique and colorful fashions from the area and throughout the world.”
